Distributed-Framework Basin Modeling System: II. Hydrologic Modeling System

چکیده

A distributed-framework hydrologic modeling system (DF-HMS) is a primary and significant component of basin (DFBMS), which simulates the hydrological processes responses after rainfall at scale, especially for non-homogenous basins. The DFBMS consists 11 feature units (HFUs) involving vertical horizontal geographic areas in basin. Appropriate or hydraulic methods are adopted different HFUs to simulate corresponding processes. digital generation model first developed determine essential information simulation. This paper mainly describes two contained DF-HMS modeling: Hilly sub-watershed plain overland flow HFUs. typical hilly area application case study Three Gorges introduced, demonstrates DF-HMS’s good performance comparison with observed streamflow catchment outlets.

Hydrologic Modeling System (hec-hms):

Many cities have been built along large rivers. The rivers can provide a source of drinking water, act as receiving water for treated effluent, provide navigation for shipping, and other beneficial uses. However, the city must also be protected from flooding due to the close proximity to the river. Hydrologic analysis plays a crucial role in the development of plans for protecting a river city....

A tightly coupled GIS and distributed hydrologic modeling framework

Distributed, physics-based hydrologic models require spatially explicit specification of parameters related to climate, geology, land-cover, soil, and topography. Extracting these parameters from national geodatabases requires intensive data processing. Furthermore, mapping these parameters to model mesh elements necessitates development of data access tools that can handle both spatial and tem...

The Regional Hydrologic Extremes Assessment System: A software framework for hydrologic modeling and data assimilation

The Regional Hydrologic Extremes Assessment System (RHEAS) is a prototype software framework for hydrologic modeling and data assimilation that automates the deployment of water resources nowcasting and forecasting applications. A spatially-enabled database is a key component of the software that can ingest a suite of satellite and model datasets while facilitating the interfacing with Geograph...

Distributed Modeling and Framework for Collaborative Embedded System Design

* ABSTRACT In this paper, we develop distributed design models and framework for collaborative embedded system design. Based on the component-based approach, a unified design-with-modules scheme is proposed to model the embedded system design process and a web-based distributed module modeling and evaluation (WebDMME) framework is developed as a collaborative cyber-infrastructure to support dis...

HyVisual: A Hybrid System Modeling Framework Based on Ptolemy II ?

HyVisual has a rigorous operational semantics described in [1]. A key property is that it internally uses superdense time, where signals are modeled as partial functions of the form f :R+ × N ⇀ V , where R+ is the non-negative real numbers and represents time, V is the value set (a data type, such as R), and N is the set of natural numbers. Continuous-time functions are total, whereas discrete-...
